Hello, My name is Wilma Omnik.
I am an Inupiat Alaskan Native. My family
comes from Point Hope, Alaska, which is above the Arctic Circle, along
the North West Coast.
My family has a long history as craftsman, primarily working with Walrus
Ivory and Baleen. My Grandfather was a Master Baleen Basket Weaver, and
my Mother was a Master Furrier. I myself have worked with Ivory, Baleen,
Wood, Furs, and Soapstone. All items are genuine pieces from Alaska, handcrafted
by Alaskan Natives.
